## ArtbyGordon: celebrating the beauty and mystery of nature.
Original oil paintings and pastel artwork with an emphasis on water and [night sky](https://www.artbygordonblog.com/original-oil-paintings-and-pastels-of-night-sky-weaving-light-in-darkness/) by the artist Steven Gordon Linebaugh. A Texas landscape and seascape painter, he has also expanded his subject matter to include pet portraits in oil on canvas or pastel on paper board.

His work has been described as realism with a bit of impressionistic style to even surreal. Many of his works are inspired by childhood dreams and memories.

Paintings are done on commission as well as a large offering of existing oils and pastel suitable for framing. Prints are available at Fine Art America and he working on expanding the quality and resources for print on demand.

Water scenes, both the mirror reflections and the depths beneath ocean, lake and streams is one specialty. Another special interest is [night skies](https://www.artbygordonblog.com/original-oil-paintings-and-pastels-of-night-sky-weaving-light-in-darkness/) with all the depth and feeling of space and stars.
